Terms of Service

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These terms apply to the Better Playlists browser extension ("the Extension"), the Better Playlists Support Pack ("the Support Pack") and this website, all provided by Paper Crane Dev ("we", "us"). By installing the Extension or buying the Support Pack, you agree to them.

1. The Extension

The Extension adds playlist tools to YouTube. Its core features are free. We may add, change or remove features in updates. We'll try to keep what you rely on working, but we can't promise any particular feature will always be available.

2. Your YouTube account

The Extension works with the YouTube account you're signed in to, and acts only when you ask it to. Moving, copying, removing, reordering, editing and deleting playlists or videos are real changes to your YouTube account.

3. Relationship with YouTube and Google

Better Playlists is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC. YouTube™ is a trademark of Google LLC. YouTube can change its website at any time, which may stop some features from working until we release a fix.

4. Support Pack

We may revoke a key that was refunded, charged back, or shared or resold in breach of these terms.

5. Refunds

If the Support Pack isn't for you, email contact@papercranedev.com within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund it, no questions asked. The key stops working once refunded. This doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer law where you live.

6. Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer the license system, distribute modified copies that unlock paid features, or use the Extension or this website to break the law or harm others.

7. Privacy

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. No warranty

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will keep working with every change YouTube makes.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, playlists or account access, arising from your use of the Extension. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Support Pack in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending use

You can stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the Extension; if we do, a Support Pack you already bought keeps working in the version you have installed as long as it keeps working with YouTube.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and material changes will be noted in the Extension's release notes. Continuing to use the Extension after a change means you accept the updated terms.
